Dunes Park Snow Plow Plan

Note: Red stars mark the locations of mailbox terminals. Snow on the street should be plowed 5 feet away from terminals. Orange lines on the map mark the sidewalks that will be plowed by the District's contractors.

The District is responsible for plowing the snow off of all sidewalks located on District-owned open spaces and the sidewalk running along 112th Avenue.  The District's landscaper performs the snow-plow services for the District. The Board's policy is for snow to be removed from the sidewalks when the snow accumulation from any snow storm is greater than 2 inches. Snow removal services will occur no earlier than 24 hours after the end of a snow storm.

The Lakes at Dunes Park (i.e. the townhome association) owns the streets and alleyways around the townhome neighborhood. Thus, the townhome HOA is responsible for plowing all snow off of the streets and sidewalks located in and around the townhome neighborhood.

Commerce City (not the District) is responsible for plowing the snow off of all streets (other than streets within the townhome area) within the Dunes Park subdivision. (The City owns and maintains these streets.) Commerce City's snow plow plan for the Dunes Park subdivision is to plow snow off of only those streets included on the Brighton 27J school bus route. The school bus route follows Florence Street north to 113th Avenue, west along 113th Avenue to Clinton Street, South on Clinton Street to 112th Drive, East on 112th Drive to 112th Court and South on 112th Court to 112th Avenue.
